The verdict is out! We are happy to announce the winner(s) of the inaugural Harambee Literary Prize (2022) international creative writing competition.

Overall Winner: “THE PACIFICATION OF UMUNNAKWE” – By Mike Ekunno (NIGERIA)

1st Runner Up: “THE BROTHERS EVANGER” – By Ken Wetherington (USA)

2nd Runner Up: “CITY ON A SLOPE” – By Celestine Ndanu (KENYA)

We extend our sincerest congratulations to the top 3 winning entries, and to every writer who participated. The overall winner will receive USD 500, the 1st and 2nd Runners up will receive special digital certificates, while all other participants will receive a certificate of participation within the course of the month of July.
